Amanda Chilleme, LMHC
Amanda Chilleme is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, currently registered to practice in state of Florida. Amanda earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and she obtained her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the same institution.
Amanda has over a decade of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field and has been practicing as a clinical therapist for the last 5 years. Amanda has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), 12 step recoveries, and SMART Recovery. Amanda works with clients to dismantle their past-experiences, self-talk messages, and negative core beliefs that keep them bound to an unhealthy behavior, mood, or circumstance. Amada utilized her therapeutic approaches to bolster her client’s ability to transcend their past circumstances and pave a new way into their future. She will always meet her clients where they are at currently in their life, and work collaboratively with them to identify goals for therapy and progress towards their ideal life.
